FERNE McCANN WEARS LAVISH ALICE GIRAFFE PRINT CAMI DRESS

TOWIE star Ferne McCann rocked our Giraffe Print Double Layer Cami Dress last week at the Vinspired Awards at London's O2 Arena. Toughening up the cream cami dress with a leather biker jacket, Ferne added a pop of colour with a pastel pink clutch and coordinating nail polish. Finishing off the look with an Essex bouncy blow dry, Ferne definitely caught our style attention!

2. Facehunter- for those times were your mind can't put together a loveable outfit, Facehunter is all about street style and serious inspiration to kick your mind into overtime.

3. Interior Magazine- By far the best interior account I've come across, when I grow up I want a house like this... *sighs*

4. Label PR- Now I might be a little bit biased but Label is the ultimate PR agency to follow to get the inside gossip on press events and celeb wears. Not to mention the VIP box at Beyonce they booked for a new collection launch!

5. Love Aesthetics- I'm such a fan of fashion blogs but this girls takes it to a whole new level! Ivana's attention to detail is phenomenal and would you believe she makes most of it herself! Her unique style has scored her a spot at Dutch Vogue too, is there anything she can't do?!

7. California Healthy- Since the beginning of the year I've become a bit obsessed with my fitness and health, with this I've become a bit of an amateur chef in the kitchen and this account seriously fuels my obsession! If only I was a California babe doing Pilates on the beach, drinking yummy frozen smoothies by the pool, skating down the side walks... a girl can dream can't she?!

8. The Little Magpie- I've been a massive fan of Amy for some time now, the way she styles up an outfit is seriously inspiring.

| LAVISH ON FESTIVAL FASHION |

Can you believe it’s March already? We’ve made it through the long, torturous fashion-fund limited January and withstood a wet, windy hair-destroying February. The beginning of March brings the promise of longer, lighter days and the sun starts to tease us by rearing its beautiful head more and more. The spring season is upon us! This means a complete wardrobe overhaul and time to push those chunky knits to the back.

Now not to get ahead of ourselves (ok who are we kidding) but, and correct me if we're wrong, it also means that festival season is near! And with Coachella only about a month away we’d say it’s more than acceptable to start outfit planning. Luckily, here at Lavish we’ve got you covered and with our brand new S/S14 collection about to touch down, you’ll be counting down the days.
Here a couple of our current favourite pieces and how to wear them.

White and Navy Zig Zag Print Pinafore Playsuit: we adore this girl-next-door shape with the bold nautical print, team with a brightly coloured crop top or if I’m feeling brave, a floral blouse for that mixed-print look!

Navy Eye Print Tapered Leg Jumpsuit: the jumpsuit has gone from strength-to-strength this season and we just can’t get enough! It is such a simple but attention grabbing look and with bridal jumpsuits on the up (!) they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. And as you already know, you can always count on Lavish Alice for exciting versatile prints that are truly unique!

| FASHION WEEK LUSTING |

Didn't manage to catch Fashion Week? No sweat, we've reviewed our fave collections from each fashion capital!

Starting of the season as usually was NY Fashion Week, and Karen Walker stole the show for us! Playing with vibrant autumn shades of florals, navy gingham, along with powerful monochrome prints. This latest collection was a tribute to the suffragettes, with easy-going, very wearable looks, yet with an underlining toughness. An iconic highlight of the show was the hand, hammer and broken heart print emphasising the suffragette movement. The looks seem effortless, yet piece together perfectly with slouchy, elegant shaping teamed with practical, satchel styled bags.

For our very own London Fashion Week, Ong Oai Pairam had it in the bag! Colour took to the stage in this collection with bright, primary colours contrasting with patterned textures and metallic. The 50's inspired box jackets and jacquard trousers created a smart, yet fun and vibrant look. The brave mix of block colours against different patterns and textures really worked to make a stand-out look pulled together with metallic tipped shoes, to make the outfit truly unique.

Amongst the crazy catwalks at Milan Fashion Week, Gucci was by far our fave! What really took our eye from the Gucci collection was the return of pastels for AW14. The collection consists of powder pink, dusty blues and greens, with soft beiges, yet with a hint of bright yellow. The precise shaping of the dresses was distinctively infused with a 60's vibe; block colouring along with A line shaping. The mannish, tailed suites saw a fitted leg with sheer, silk shirts. The added fur on top, and knee-high, patent boots with loafer detailing completed the glamorous, chic look.

As all things good come to those who wait, Paris Fashion Week was definitely worth it! Sonya Rykiel has us hooked for A/W14 already! Slick suede filled the floor with long, tailed, camel coats and smart, cigarette trousers. Slouchy, bobbled, voluminous jumpers and fur to contrast the crisp shirts worn underneath. Layering is a fundamental feature for this collection complementing the cosy, wool garments. The shaping of the collection appears quite androgynous with strong, squared shouldering, yet the textures worn are ultra-feminine, with soft shading, and rose print designs. To complete the look of fine knits with a fresh, chic grace, designer for Sonia, Geraldo da Conceicao, added a 90’s feel with a fun platform heel and sheer, delicate gloves adding a ladylike touch.
